Wight Noize is an annual competition run by Platform One College of Music, which allows Isle of Wight-based artists and bands (aged 16-24) to audition for an opportunity to open the main stage of the Isle of Wight Festival.

All applications will be reviewed by an industry panel, who will carefully select acts that are ready to perform at The Isle of Wight Festival 2024. Shortlisted artists and bands will then be invited to play at a live showcase at Strings Bar & Venue (on Thursday 25th April) in front of the industry panel.

One act that is deserving of playing the main stage on Sunday 23rd June, will then be selected and announced live at the end of the showcase. The main stage festival slot includes full VIP treatment, as well as the opportunity to play the Platform One Stage during the weekend.
