Sound of Belfast is an annual festival celebrating new musical talent and creativity from across Northern Ireland. Taking place from 7-17 November 2024 throughout the city, this year's edition is the tenth anniversary, with 83 events in 43 venues; including the flagship NI Music Prize, Ireland’s biggest one-day music conference Output, alongside youth music projects such as the youth-focused Breaking Into Music event. With multiple slots available, the festival is primarily booking Irish musical talent but will also consider UK-based acts. Applications by artists in the rock, pop, singer-songwriter and indie genres will be prioritised, but acts from hip-hop, rap, jazz, and blues genres are invited to apply.
