Ridiculous Biz is a live events and consultancy company that works with artists, labels and music tech businesses in the UK and Mexico. We bring creative people together in unique spaces, gigs and festivals to connect and collaborate.

Last year we hosted the first Ridiculous Boat Party in Austin during SXSW, featuring performances from Natalie Shay, Red Rum Club, Ulysses Wells and Bial Hclap. More than 3,000 people RSVP’d for our party, and we handpicked 100 key music industry guests to join us for a VIP sunset sailing on Ladybird Lake.

One artist will be selected to play a 30-minute set at the Ridiculous Boat Party in Austin on Monday 11th March 2024 to an audience of key music industry players. IMPORTANT! Artists applying music meet the following requirements:

Artists/bands must already be confirmed to play at SXSW or be on the waitlist for an official SXSW performance slot.

Artists must be US residents OR have an ESTA / Visa in order to play at this event.

This is an unpaid showcase performance opportunity, and unfortunately, we cannot cover any travel or accommodation costs.
