Climate Live are looking for young, up and coming UK artists and DJs to platform on our open-top solar-powered bus stage in Crystal Palace Park this summer! To be eligible, you must be: based in the UK this summer (international artists are welcome to apply if you will be in the UK this summer), aged 16+. We are particularly interested in hearing from acts who are underrepresented in the music industry and beyond.
Please note that we are a charity with a team of mostly volunteers and limited funds, so we can cover expenses (travel, food, etc) but not fees.
Who are we? Climate Live is a youth-led charity who engage young music fans in climate and intersectional social justice issues. We bring our pink solar-powered bus stage to festivals where we host live music and DJs from up-and-coming artists, alongside talks and creative workshops from youth activists on intersectional climate and social justice issues.
We create a joyful, creative and accessible space for young people to learn and become empowered to create change. We prioritise providing opportunities to young artists and activists from marginalised communities, who are often underrepresented in this space.
We have platformed 222 artists on our stage. As a diverse team, providing opportunities to people underrepresented in arts and culture is a priority for us.
Artists who have played on our stage include Cristale, Beth McCarthy, Alfie Templeman, Nova Twins, Seb Lowe, GIRLI, Sophie Castillo, tinyumbrellas, Overpass, pozzy, JayaHadADream, Sexy Lady Massive and many more.
